| 20th & 21st of August 2010- Parents Day Program |
The Parents Day Program was split into 3 sessions. The Junior Michaelites Parents Day (Kg – Std. I) was held in the morning on the 20th. The Junior Michaelites Parents Day Program (Std. II – Std. V) was held on 20th Afternoon and the Senior Michaelites Parents Day Program was held on 21st August. Every child in the school participated either in dances, plays, songs or individual items. |

| Independence Day Celebration |
On Aug. 15th, our children enjoyed the Independence Day Celebration and actively took part in the March Past, Flag Hoisting and quiz. Chocolates were distributed to the children. |

| 31st July 2010 - Retreat for Christian Students |
Our School had organized a Retreat for all the Christian students of Std. VII to X. in the school auditorium on 31st July 2010. The retreat was led by Mr. Sunil Mahajan along with four other members from Project Life. |

| Visit to the National Gallery of Modern Art |
The students of Std. IV, VIII & IX got a wonderful and rare opportunity to see various forms of art by famous artists. They visited the National Gallery of Modern Art on Palace Road in the last week of July. |

Commemoration our late foundress Mrs. Betsy Chacko
A prayer service was conducted on 3rd July 2010 to ask for Gods blessings in the new academic year as well as to commemorate our late foundress Mrs. Betsy Chacko on her 9th death anniversary.
Rev. Fr. Jose. P. J Financial Administrator, Kristu Jayanthi College conducted the prayer service and addressed the children. The Bible reading and hymns by the school choir added to the solemnity of the occasion.

7th June – Investiture Ceremony
The Investiture Ceremony was conducted at the school on the 7th of June. All the Captains, Vice Captains and Prefects including Head Boy and Head Girl were appointed as Leaders for the year 2010 – 2011.
The Director Mrs. Sonya Chacko pinned on their badges while the Principal Mrs. Prabha honored the captains and Vice Captains with sashes. |

12th March- Std. X Graduation
The Graduation Ceremony – a grand but solemn affair was held for the outgoing students of Std. 10. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Samuel Barnett Rajshekhar a noted philanthropist and social worker, head of the Yuvalok Foundation that provides education, meals and even job training to under privileged children. Mementos and Certificates of Excellence were awarded to the students. |

23rd January – Project Exhibition
The Junior Project Exhibition (KG – Std IV) was held on the 23rd of January in the Auditorium. The children and teachers of each class put up various projects relevant to their class and studies like Rain Water Harvesting, Balanced Diet, Landforms, Adulteration of Food etc. |

12th January – Taekwondo Display by Korean Group
We were privileged to have a group of students from Korea Nazarene University display their Taekwondo skills to the students and spend some time with us all.
The students and staff of our school were amazed at their fabulous performance. They also invited some of our students to try their hand at it while they guided them. |

Spreading Christmas Cheer: 15th - 17th Dec
One batch of Std. X students visited the Old Age Home run by The Little Sisters of The Poor and distributed new sarees and shirts to the inmates after presenting them Christmas songs and a dance.
The second batch of Std. X students visited Infant Jesus Home for children suffering from AIDS. They donated a slide for the little ones besides toiletries.
The Students of Std. VIII visited the nearby Government school and
Shishu Bhavan (an orphanage run by the Missionaries of Charity). The choir joined them to sing some songs and entertain them. At Shishu Bhavan they donated biscuits, other snacks, toiletries and fruits.
At the government school each child was given a book, several pencils, erasers and a complete snack including cake and chips. |

Christmas Celebrations: 18th – 19th Dec
Christmas celebrations were held for KG - Std II on 18th Dec. The tiny tots put up a Christmas play and sang traditional Christmas songs with so much enthusiasm. They were rewarded with a visit by Santa Claus to the hall and later to their classrooms. Every class actually had a party with their classes decorated, games, snacks and even presents for every child.
Our higher classes had their party on 19th Dec. They too presented the nativity scene in the form of a play and ended with 3 specially choreographed songs by the choir. The program ended with distribution of blankets, towels, cake and toiletries to 15 less privileged families from the neighborhood who were specially invited for the program. Each family was later also provided 25 – 30kgs of provisions such as wheat, ragi, rice dhal etc. All the children then went on to have their party in their classes with snacks games and gifts for all. |

Academic Competitions: 15th – 17th Dec
Spelling Bee and Quick Mental Maths competitions were conducted for classes 1-10, standard wise. Quiz Competition was conducted for classes 4-10. Winners were awarded Merit Certificates and a prize in the form of books on the spot. |

Fete/Carnival: 12th & 13th December
The school organized a Fete / Carnival on the 12th and 13th of December. The children had the time of their lives, enjoying themselves at the various games stalls and food stalls. The proceeds of the Fete are being given to various charitable organizations. |

Childrens Day: 14th November
Children's Day was a day of complete fun and excitement for the children. The day began with the teachers presenting the assembly which included 2 prayer songs and a skit. Then the children were treated to a variety of dances by various groups of teachers including a Hindi fusion dance, a Goan dance and a Western dance, complete with co-ordinated costumes.
Later some fun competitions were organized for the children like solo dancing, rangoli and flower arrangement. Celebrations ended with cake and chocolate for everyone. |

Cultural Competitions: 10th Nov – 24th Nov
Elocution, Drawing/Painting, Solo Singing, Solo Dance and Fancy Dress competitions were conducted for classes 1-10, standard wise. Stand up Comedy, Radio Jockey, Music-Instrumental, Rangoli and Flower Arrangement competitions were conducted for classes 5-10. Winners were awarded Merit Certificates on the spot. |

Sports Day: 6th & 7th November
Sports Day was held in two sessions- the Junior Sports was on 6th November and Senior Sports on 7th November Mrs. M. K Asha, International Athlete was the Chief Guest for the Junior Sports. Every child participated in one race or the other making for a happy and eventful day.
Padmashree Syed Kirmani, International Cricketer was the Chief Guest for the Senior Sports Day. The Band Display, Pyramids and Musical Display Drills were the highlights of the day besides all the races and athletic events. |

Teachers Day: 29th August
Teachers Day was held a few days in advance as the first term exams were
round the corner.
The children decorated the stage and presented songs and dance for the teachers. There were even games organized for the teachers and a sumptuous lunch to end the day. |

Parents day: 21st & 22nd August
Parents Day for the Academic Year was held on 21st and 22nd August 2009 in
three sessions.
Solo performances in song and poetry between the group performances made for an exciting session of non- stop entertainment for the parents.
The first session was held for the students of Nursery to Std.I. The second session showcased the students of Std. II to V and the third session was reserved for the students of Std. VI to X. |
